12/13, Third Sunday of Advent
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say,
rejoice.
Indeed, the Lord is near.
Gaudete in Domino semper: iterum dico
gaudete.
Rejoice, for the Lord has come, and He
will come again! Jesus is present to us
every day if we just seek Him. He is
present in our actions. He is present
when we love one another. He is present
when we read the Bible or pray the Liturgy of the Hours. Most importantly, He is present, Body, Blood,
Soul, Divinity, every day in the Eucharist.
Do we take advantage of it? Do we
reverence it as the True Presence of God among us? Rejoice!
The Lord has come, and He will come again!
